Elkford has snow!
Elkford got a nice dump of snow last weekend. This photo was taken on the Crossing Creek trail on Sunday Nov 8 by Dave
About 36" in the basins, no base so watch for rocks & stumps. We had about a foot at valley bottom, melted a bit and we got a good dusting on Wednesday.
Hows the snow looking for Boxing day guys?
There's about a foot in my yard. We had some warming about 2 weeks ago and then it filled in nicely last week.
I haven't been out myself but the groomer went up the claims yesterday and I'm told the snow up there is pretty good. I doubt anyone has been in the back of Mear yet or Smith, guys have said the Bull River side is not bad.
We broke the back of smith the first day out this year November 13-14th. It was good then. lots of fresh, but no base. should be alot better now. Tried breaking the back of Mear then to but that wasnt happening. It is broke now though. This season is shaping up early!

Any updates on snow conditions and grooming for the Elkford area?
